About the program:

Window on Sweden camp is a 4-days long residency where 16 emerging Moroccan writers will come together to dive into their belief systems, while exploring their experiences and learning to question and promote the presence of Gender Equality in Moroccan society. Led by three established Swedish writers, the program will allow participants to revise and refine a creative writing project aiming to raise awareness around issues surrounding women and create a common future based on shared values in the fight against gender-based violence.
Throughout the program, participants will attend creative writing workshops, Swedish Literature seminars, meetings with writers, lectures, and much more.
The program will also be a platform to connect Moroccan established writers with their Swedish counterparts to swap ideas, share experiences and discuss issues related to gender-based violence, freedom of expression, and writers' rights.
