Call for Interns


The Olive Writers association is pleased to announce our first call for interns this year.

Starting the 4th of April 2022, we will be accepting applications for a 3 month-long, unpaid internship (minimum) in the following fields:

  • Marketing & Communications

  • Project Management

  • Digital Creation

  • Translation, Writing & Editing
The selected interns will work from home on a flexible schedule (project by project, and each project will be streamlined through weekly objectives, with pre-determined hourly inputs and resources), with in-person missions to take place only during the program implementation phase (the association will cover all expenses). At the end of the internship, you will receive a certificate.

Duration:

3 months (with possibility of extension)

Commitment:

Part-time (15 -20 hours per week)

Qualifications:

  • Project management

  • Fluency in English, and/or French, and/or Arabic.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Good organizational skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently are crucial.
  • Proven ability to work well with a diverse group of people in a team setting

The Olive Writers is a non-governmental organization that works to support writers at all levels by connecting them, offering them opportunities for personal and professional development, and mobilizing them to engage others, inspire, and promote social change.

We achieve our mission through several projects and initiatives, such as workshops, seminars, webinars, camps, capacity-building programs, magazines, and anthologies, among other projects. Thanks to our partnership with national and international organizations, all our programming is offered free of charge.
