The ALC Casablanca has organized a writing workshop with Moroccan-British writer Saida Rouass.
The workshop, which will be held on November 23, 2019, will be followed by a reading and discussion.
Rouass is the author of Eighteen Days of Spring in Winter and Assembly of the Dead. She is currently working on Library of Untruths, set in 1912 Fes, when Morocco became a French Protectorate
Assembly of the Dead is based on a real-life story. Set in Marrakesh in 1906, the novel recounts the story of the so-called Moorish Jack the Ripper. During her workshop, Rouass will speak about the women he murdered and how she discovered their stories.
