قام محمد الوهابي بتأسيس كتاب الزيتون في عام 2016. وقد تم نشر قصص وقصائد الوهابي باللغة العربية والإنجليزية في بلا حدود وفي أماكن أخرى ، وهو مواطن من الدار البيضاء (المغرب).
 
 
 Hasna JABIR
Program Officer


Hasna Jabir is a Moroccan social activist and trainer. She holds a diploma in software engineering and a B.A. in Organizational Communication. She is the co-founder and former president of Lotus Association for Culture and Creativity. Jabir volunteers with the Lalla Salma Foundation for Cancer Prevention and Treatment; she is also an active member of several NGOs, notably the  Family School in Casablanca. Jabir aspires to create a nurturing environment for Moroccan NGOs, bringing positive energy through fruitful communication and effective management strategies, fighting all forms of corruption, malfunction and misuse of status and funds. Her hobbies include traveling, reading, and playing basketball.
 
 
Hodna Bentali Gharsallah NUERNBERG
Program Officer


Hodna Bentali Gharsallah Nuernberg holds an MFA in Literary Translation and an MA in Francophone World Studies, both from the University of Iowa. She has taught languages, literature and translation at universities in France, the U.S. and Morocco, where she served as a Fulbright English Teaching Fellow at the ENS-Rabat. Her translations from French and Arabic have appeared with Two Lines, Anomaly, Asymptote, QLRS, Poet Lore, on TV5 and elsewhere. 
 
 
Salma TAKKY
Project Manager


Salma TAKKY is a Ph.D candidate and researcher on Cultures, Gender and Media Studies at Sidi Mohammed Ben Abdellah University in Fez (Morocco), where she is currently conducting research on the politics of gender and religion in documentary films for a dissertation titled "Investigating Discourses of Terror, Hegemony and Subalternity." In 2017, she was a visiting scholar at The Research Institute for Women and Gender Studies at Granada University (Spain). As a part of the Global Girl Media & Network, Takky studied journalism and digital media at the Institut Spécialisé du Cinéma et de l’Audiovisuel in Rabat (Morocco). Takky has extensive experience leading and coordinating socially engaged projects and working with NGOs. Her interests include education, peace and conflict resolution, media, democracy,  dialogue education, women's empowerment,  social entrepreneurship, and empowering youth.
 
 
Kenza BELADEL
Communications Associate

 
 Kenza BELADEL is a youth leader and photographer. She majors in English Studies at Ain Shok University in Casablanca. She is an alumna of the MYSEC program for social entrepreneurship. Beladel enjoys public speaking, reading and watching football. Beladel combined her passion for photography and social entrepreneurship to launch a custom t-shirt line. In 2018, she was selected to take part in the Global Ugrad Program in the United States.
 
 
Khadija GOURRI
Editor
& Publications Manager

Khadija GOURRI holds a BA in English. She teaches English as a Second Language  at the American Language Center El Jadida (Morocco). She joined The Olive Writers's staff after taking part in the 2017 summer camp.
